Funky-chic is a new style that is lately popping on the red carpet....even on the grammies!

Jamie Grace, a new Christian artist who won new Christian Artist for 2012 appeared on the grammies in cowboy boots, dangly roman cross earrings and an uber-cute black hi-lo skirt.

The Fashion Forties

Something that I`ve recently been obsessing about is the 40s. ( i even bought a pattern and print packet at Value Village!) 
For a classic, Audrey Hepburn spin-off prom or semi-formal worthy dress that`s sure to impress, use simple accessories, vintage cuts, and loose skirts to pull of `that look`. Believe me--this kind of style never grows old.  Some clothing stores that carry this style are the occasional pop-ups at Forever 21, or go online and search up `1940`s clothing stores`. 
Style Tip 2:Salvation Army often carries style guides and packets of prints to MYOD for cheap ( 50 cents each! SCORE!) , and believe me: this never gets old.
